Last week WBI was awarded a door installation project in the Columbus Convention Center. The scope of work includes the removal of existing metal doors and replacing with new 1-3/4" premium grade red oak prefinished doors and brushed stainless steel hardware. There are125 total doors to be installed in various meeting rooms throughout the Convention Center.
We successfully completed a General Trades project several years ago in the Convention Center, so this ain't our first rodeo. We're looking forward to jumping back on the saddle!
Expected Challenges:
Second shift, frequent re-mobilizations, several (scheduled) delays due to events, and only (3) sets of door openings can be worked on at one time or be inoperable.
